Spainlads has almost certainly provided the correct (and only sensible) answer. The problem is, however, that nobody can really be sure until someone conducts some serious research into this.

So, Nathan, can I assume that you'll be happy to cooperate when someone, with a clipboard, stops you in the street and asks, "Excuse me sir, would you mind if I measure your nose, eyes, ears and penis?" :-)

There is no direct corelation between any of a man's body parts, and the size of his penis.

However, there is a direct relation between a woman's foot size and the width of her hips - women with smaller feet will have potentially more difficulty delivering a baby than a woman with larger feet.

This is not to say that all women with small feet have difficult births, or that all women with large feet have easy births, only to say that foot size and hip size on a woman are related.

Maybe this is where the nonsense of the nose / penis interface began.

judiewudie - its a very simple question about a theory that a lot of people have heard of - if you don't know the answer and have nothing constructive to say why don't you keep your nose out of it?

Don't be so quick to poo-pooh this theory. I believe it is a reasonable rule of thumb (so to speak), but of course not an accurate predictor. I think the generalization came from anecdotal evidence -- perhaps that kind of unreliable observation where you don't notice when it's not true but you do notice when it is (like bread falling butter side down or "why do I always hit red lights when I'm in a hurry!?"). I can personally vouch for small ones that matched small nose and ears, even on an otherwise large man, and large ones that matched large hands, feet and nose. (I never heard of eyebrows.) Buenchico is certainly right that a scientific study would need to be conducted to prove it one way or another, and, as Clanad implies, it would need to take into account each fellow's personal minimum and maximum. There are surely genetic factors as well, leading to generalizations about particular ethnic groups. It is clearly true that many people of African descent have large lips, and many people of middle eastern descent have large noses. Why object to generalizations about parts less easily seen?

It does seem a pretty accurate measurement.

i know the size of your foot is exactly the same size as your forearm from elbow to wrist.

your thumb is the same as your nose

your height is the same as arms outstretched hand to hand

your hand span is the same length as your face, little finger to thumb

ring finger same as ear

so its not beyond the realms of possibility for bits of your body to match others
