How many Spitfires are there left in the UK ?

according to the Spitfire Society there are around 50 in flying condition in the UK

I think it's more like around the world rather than in the UK.

This is the 70th Anniversary of its first flight and there will many events at various airshows this year.

The largest of which will probably be the one at Duxford airfield in Sept.
