How much does a child make for a tooth these days?

hi champs, i think the tooth fairy leaves between 50p and a pound :)

Probably nothing at all or maybe just the root. I remember when I was a young lad kids as young as five used to make complete teeth all week long. Some, of course, made false teeth but they were always caught out and moved to fingernails. No-one enjoyed working in fingernails.

well my 5 year old neice recently lost her first tooth.. quite literally.. ( we think she may have swallowed it.. )

she was so upset about it she wrote an apology to the tooth fairy on a note, that she had lost her tooth and put that under her pillow..

the tooth fairy still left her �1 so i think shes a good fairy!!

When I was a chld, it used to be a silver sixpence - 6d.

Our Grandchildren now find either a 50p or a �1 coin.

I'm not sure why your parents never told you this Champagne, but, well, I'm not sure how to put this... the tooth fairy isn't real. It's just your parents, they put the money under your pillow. I hope this isn't too much of a shock. :)

Spacechimp, I beg to differ. I am a qualified Tooth Fairy, Santa and a Witch. I turn water into juice all the time and my daughter tells it to everyone.

Just because I happen to be a parent also does not mean my qualifications are void!
