I just have to share this with you all, (I have put it here as a part of modern history and will also post in people and places) a site I found by accident, a very sad, disturbing, eye-opening account of the Chernobyl aftermath. If you're squeamish or emotional it's not for you. But perhaps we should all be aware.

I grew up in Russia, so this is very close to heart. Thank you for the link.

Unfortunately, whilst we have nuclear reactors it is a question of not if but when is it going to happen again.
