Queen Victoria
I have an insert card which was given out by Brooke Bond Tea co. Ltd in 1897 showing Queen Victoria as a young woman in 1837 when she ascended the throne and also as she was at the time of her Diamond Jubilee in 1897. In the early picture she is known as HGM and in the second as HIM. I know the second abbreviation stands for Her Imperial Majesty but I don't know for sure what HGM stands for, maybe Her Gracious Majesty? Can anyone please help.
