I remember when I was about 7 or 8, so at the end of the 80s, there was an explosion in those Casio digital wrist-watches with calculators. The buttons were roughly six nano-microns across in length. We thought they would change the world! In fact, the whole "digital-wrist-watch" thing didn't really last much past the mid-90s, did it.
Coffee-shops on every street corner. PCs (only geeks had them in the 80s). The Premiership. Professional Rugby Union. New Men (whatever ever happened to them?).
A Skip-It. They cained your ankles and were banned from schools but by good were you picked on if you didn't have one! And those snap on bracelet things too. Again totally lethal but necessary!
My memories of the rave culture, and events I attended (89-93). The nights out, chill outs, 4 day weekends, friends, amazing sights, sounds and just the sheer joy of it all.
