Do you know who Rod Amerjo is?

There is a listed building in Liverpool called Hargreaves Building in Chapel Street. There are busts (I think you call them this) inset into the walls of the building which are amazing. My husband has looked them all up tonight but there is one called Rod Amerjo and we cannot find anything about him on the internet. Has anyone ever heard of him and what he was famous for? Thanks all.

I believe this may be Juan Rodr�guez Bermejo, the birthname of Rodrigo de Triana, who was the lookout on the Pinta who sighted land on Columbus' voyage to the New World.
