Apparently, he did say "Kiss me Hardy" ( and was kissed by him, once on the cheek and once on the forehead) though they're not thought to be his LAST words... which were aparently "Drink drink. Fan, fan. Rub rub." as he was thirsty and hot. He was given lemonade & watered wine while the ship's chaplin massaged his chest to ease the pain.
