Some would argue that mythical & theocratic accounts should be taken as definitive proof of certain events and should be viewed as history (the same people may also argue that there is a difference between mythical and theocratic!). There are others who would argue that history should be formed from hard evidence, backed up with eye-witness accounts.
history is fact while theocratic accounts is based on little proven evidences unlike myth which has some sort of substance to it.
