What to do with a disused boiler?

My sister has changed from oil to gas for her central heating but now has a boiler sitting in its little brick house in the yard doing nothing.
What should she do with it?

What I mean is - is it likely to be of any use to anyone else?
Does that depend on the make/model/year etc?
Is it likely to be worth anything?
If it has no value then how should it be disposed of?

etc etc etc

Thanks.

If she really doesn't want it you could Freecycle it, someone could use it for spares and at least they would dispose of it for your. Lots of things go that way on Freecycle, a case of one man's junk...another man's treasure. I'd give that a try, if she's not already a member you just sign up and post...it's free.
she could try too advertise it on freecycle or free adds in local paper providing she want's no money for it - just doing someone a good turn
*you* (not your)

Yes - know about freecycle and she is happy to put it on there.
Don't suppose it has much monetory value?
Shivvy - it is worth something as scrap metal if you take it to a scrapyard. As to it's worth as a working appliance - will depend on make / model / age - Ebay perhaps
It'll have scrap metal value if nothing else

The info I have is:
Trojan Turco 50/90
Electro Oil Sterling
LOA21.173A27
50-60Hz
3VA

Is the scap metal value likely to be worth much?
To be honest I would just take it of the wall and weigh it in as scrap - a nice box of quality street or two for christmas

Ah so we are looking at £5 rather than £50 TonyV?
If it is complete .. and WAS working fine ... eBay it complete.
You need the year and a manual and any Flue connections available .. especially the adapter out of the boiler (whether rear or top)
It was made from 1996. Pretty reasonable boiler.
Some Boulter's that size and 5 years old go to 140 quid on eBay (because I just swapped one for a family .. and that one we collected as an eBay purchase)

It has no copper. They are all cast iron or (later) steel plate.
