Earth movement has caused my patio pointing to break up twice. I have now dug out the old pointing and left clear. Does anyone know of any material or method I could use to prevent this. Many thanks

If the patio is moving then anything that goes hard will crack out again, the only thing I could suggest is brushing some sharp sand into the joints, which you could top up as and when required. The problem with sand though is it will probably get weeds and moss growing in it, so may not be a suitable solution.
If not sand, then clean 3mm sharp chippings of the right colour :o)
Not chippings off the old block?
My patio does that Stayahead. I`m going to let the moss grow and pretend that`s how I wanted it.
Id brush in some soil mixed with seeds of lowgrowing thymes and alpines and make a feature of it

Thanks to everyone for their answers. D97x7, the sand would probably wash away in heavy rain. The Builder, sharp chippings may be possible but presumably weeds would still be a problem
