I have had the fashias re-painted on the front and back of the house but it rained before they had time to dry.
The Chap who painted them said they would be ok and they do look alright as the rain doesn't exactly hit straight onto them but will the rain have caused any damage as the warmer weather comes in.?

They will be fine. The wet if it touched the surface would not have penetrated and at worst the finish may look a bit hammered. No performance issues though.
mjwman is quite right. If rain falls on newly-painted horizontal surfaces it might remove some of the gloss, but a vertical surface will be ok.

Thanks! It still looks ok today so fingers crossed.
The previous two answers are probably adequate, but it'd be useful to know if the paint was oil or water based. The oil based paint most likely won't show any effects, but latex based paints sometimes will show streak marks if rained on when it's fresh. I'd agree you're most likely safe, but even that surmise depends on how glossy your paint finish was intended to be. Lower gloss or satin (as it's called here in the U.S.) usually hides imperfections better better than shiny, higher gloss ones...
What warmer weather? ;-((

Well you can always hope for warmer weather. It is gloss paint. He decided today not to do any . He has a little left to do and we haven't had any rain today. Typical!
