... Please

there are four transit screws to be removed

one has come out - the other three have loosened and extended, but i cannot pull them out

i am assuming they were to stop the drum from moving or rotating however, as the drum can now rotate .. would it be ok to leave the three screws as they are - sticking out?

(i really am a complete novice at DIY)

Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooosh
Question-How many men does it take to remove stubborn screws from an appliance??
...and do they listen to a woman's advice?.. :)
I think the suggestions about using a bit of pull force are best. To make it easier get an open end spanner large enough to go round the bolt but smaller than the head. Place it behind the screw head so that you can apply some pulling force while turning the screw.
I also suggest trying to screw the bolt back in for a bit. If the threads engage again then you know the fixing position had been cleared earlier and you may just need to unscrew again and wiggle the bolt loose.
As for cutting the fixing bolts, I needed mine when I transported my machine for repair last year so I would be reluctant to cut them. Hope this helps.
Oi ^^^^
Oops, I did not realise this went to three pages!!!
Lol never mind he got there in the end,job done.
You should have paid for the installation, excel. Have you managed all the other biits you have to do? Don't forget to run a programme before you put any laundry in.
