Locks For Writing Slopes?

I have bought a rather nice writing slope on ebay, however the lock doesn't work at all. Its quite easy to remove though and in fact I suspect that its not the original one anyway. I've hunted around but the only supplier of replacements I could find is in america and the p and p is huge.

Does anyone know of a UK supplier of writing slope (wooden box) locks please? Either new or old but they must work and come with a key.

Hello all
What started off as nice bright day has turned wild,wet and windy.
Saw nurse ,she cleaned it took a swab ,dressed it again and I have to go back Christmas Eve for another dressing.I really don't need this atm.
Hope Mr N gets on alright with his phone Neti ,not like Mr S whose phone, which I bought him for Christmas a coupla three years ago,is still in the drawer! He never takes it with him when he goes out .
My brother has not long gone actually.He popped in earlier.He's better healthwise but very lonely and sad.He's got us all propping him up as best we can but as he said just now ,when he gets home there's nobody there. :((

It's turned very chilly here now and blowing up a storm out there .I might don a red coat and hat ...lol. I won't be robbing and KFC outlets though.That's one place whose doorways I have never darkened since the one time it first opened here in the early 70's and the chicken was raw inside when I bit into it ..bleeugh.

Getting chilly now. I have made a beef curry and a veg curry and rice and papadoms.
I am tinkering with the idea of running a coaxial.cable front bedroom sky box to kitchen so I can watch things. There are a couple of holes already in the walls.for telephone cables sonic shouldn't be too hard. I just hate touching leccy these days. Scares me. And the sky aerial can alf give out a belt.

They closed our KFC/pizza hut which is such a shame as was handy for nipping in for a quick takeaway. I don't eat red chicken but it doesn't worry me and wouldn't out me off. Have a stomach like cast iron with all the undercooked or out of date food that we have eaten in the past.

I used to have a cast iron stomach but not these days and these antibiotics are making me feel nauseous.

Yes shaney I watched it too, very nice and they all look so different in normal life. Its a lovely feel good programme and I shall certainly miss it.
Am still in bed at 9.17 tut tut, have to go to bank, sort out our online banking as its all changed and we can't access it now! I also have to go,to hairdressers, am going back to usual ones and only hope they know how to do,this sticky up style. Need eyebrows tinted which is why am going back there.
My right inner elbow is so painful, I guess it's arthritis but really hurts. Onr day its a finger, then the knee, then an ankle and now an inner elbow. Hate this getting old. Just have to keep looking forward to dancing in Pacha next summer.

Well pleased with hair and eyebrows. I left a 10€ tip and she refused so I insisted they take it, for a bottle of wine for Xmas.

A'noon....it's wild and windy here, it's like being on the moors. I see it's the shortest day today and not yesterday but it often is the 21st Dec. Either way it felt like the longest day, riddled with pain. Went to bed early to watch the Downton thingy and ping! Bloomin bedside lamp blew. A new bulb didn't fix it so I left it til this morning. Where's sparkibiza when you need her?

And I hope your leg is healing shaney, no one wants to be to-ing and fro-ing to mexicos and clinics at this time of year. Your poor brother must feel lost, it'll be a tough time for him.
I'd like to fast forward to the end of Jan, all this malarkey gets in the way of a decent hibernation.

Oh weather is clouding over and I have a thick throat. It'll be this year long awaited cold/flu that has not turned up since last December. Poor Mr N can't answer his new phone because he stabs at it instead of swiping, he'll learn.
My inside elbow is so painfull, but I think it's from a higher muscle as I remember now lugging the old heavy microwave tomthe side of the house, so hopefully it'll wear off.

Afternoon each and every!
We were up and out at 8.30 (7.30 your time tried to get to the big indoor market in Ibiza but absolutely nowhere to park so went to lidl (got some lovely crusty nut bread) then onto another big supermarket then onto another. Its cloudy and, as Mr N would say; it's a British day, just grey. anyway I have got all the bedding washed and dried, and read on internet that to freshen mattress sprinkle bicard over it and leave and then hoover which is what I have done, and aired duvet for 3 hrs. Oh I do feel righteous!
We managed to get a 3.45 kilo turkey which is the size we wanted but it seems to grow every minute.
A syndicate in San Antonio won 15m € but it'll be shared among many.

We are doing our Christmas trip into Ibiza tonight to see the decs and have a meal but all I want is (close your ears shaney) Burger King, just can't face a stuffy hot restaurant. Just isn't Christmassy this year. Both sisters have gone away to their various rellies.
I am stuffing myself with sweets and goodies.
