I Need A Clever Diy Person!!
Shower *** has broken and cannot find replacement.
If I take *** off there is a round plastic bit. Looking at what I could drill/insert into this to turn off and on. Cannot replace shower at present.

Personally I'd probably araldite it also. Other than that I'd drill a small hole through the side of the shaft and the insert a piece of steal on a 90% angle which I could then just twist round to operate. Or use an old socket from a socket set and pin that to the shaft. Retro T-bar shower power kn.ob
if there is a little plastic bit sticking out could you perhaps fit one of these to it, no drilling needed just put it over and tighten up. not the most elegant but might serve your purpose.
