Hinges For Intergaated Doors

i brought a new integrated washing machine last year and i've lost the bloody hinges that came with it so you can attach the door to it. I've called hover and they want to charge me £50 to replace them and they're even £30 on ebay.
Is there anyway i can just use normal cheaper hinges to attach the door (by door i mean the one to match the rest of my kitchen cupboards, not the glass washing machine door)

Whilst I don't know I'd suggest two things. You could buy normal hinges and give it a try. And for £30, or even £50, why chance spoiling the appearance for a one off cost ? Might regret it later.

Know what you mean. Been there umpteen times. Spares never cheap though. Captive market so bit of a gold mine.

I am not sure what you mean by ‘normal’. Standard kitchen cupboard hinges are designed, and sprung, to close at 90 degrees whereas the hinges for doors on built-in washing machines (and fridge/freezers) are usually attached to the machine so designed to close flat. They make less of them so they are bound to be more expensive.

Sorry, I should add that I have had an integrated fridge where the hinges fit on the side of it, and not the front, so that they closed at 90 degrees, but even with that type you couldn’t use a ‘standard’ cupboard door hinge because the hinges are the wrong way around – that is designed to fit outside not inside.
