Wondering if the above is available for purchase. Took delivery of a water flosser today. Seems to work. But having plugged it into my woman's bathroom socket, high on the wall as part of a light fitting, above the wall cabinet, the flosser's lead isn't long enough to allow me to put it anywhere. So I'm trying to hold the main item, and manoeuvre the nozzle, and work the controls, with just two hands. I need to be able to set it down on the window sill.
TIA

While I can't guarantee that you won't find such an item (probably from a dodgy Chinese supplier) available on Amazon or eBay, you shouldn't be able to buy an extension lead for use in a bathroom.

3-pin electrical sockets can't be installed in bathrooms unless they're at least 3 metres away from any source of water and shaver sockets need to be 'a safe distance' from any such source (and solely used for shavers). Introducing an extension lead into the setup would risk having a mains power source closer to water than the Regulations permit, so you shouldn't be able to buy one.
This sounds very strange to me OG (I am an electrician btw)
bathroom socket, high on the wall as part of a light fitting (I presume this is of a two pin type. Which is an isolating transformer built in with the light)
So if you are plugging into this. I again presume that the appliance is two pin (rather than 3 pin)
If so, A piece of equipment designed for the bathroom would either have a sufficient length of cord for such use. Or, the lead pulls out of the appliance making it cordless. Have you tried to remove the lead (please don't break it, But see if it will come away) I think this may be a rechargeable item with the cord plugged in for charging the battery.

And NO, you will not find a legit cord for this purpose.

Can you upload a pic or give item details for us to look at ?
Possibly something like this, Klazomaniac:

I agree with Klazo, all the water flossers I have seen have a base unit and once charged you remove the device from the base add water and selected head to use.
Cheers chris. Now I see OG's issue in holding it all. lol
I'll wait to see his responce before adding any more to save on time if it's not the item.
The (safe, legal) solution might be to fit a shelf in the bathroom which is nearer to the socket than the window sill is.
Not a good design is it, for £73 - if that's the one.
Safe and legal solution.

Exactly like that.
At Wetherspoons at present. Will read up properly later. Ta.
^^^ Although continental 2-pin sockets are very similar to UK shaver sockets, TC, they're not identical and trying to match the two up can either result in a very loose-fitting plug or in it not fitting at all:

The 'questions' section of your link has an answer which specifically states that the cable offered there is NOT compatible with a shaver socket.

When I say exactly like thst I mean more like https://www.boots.com/waterpik-ultra-water-flosser-wp-120uk-10166257
wouldn't it be safer to use at the kitchen sink? x
Well, I had no idea such a thing existed.
That is not a safe and legal solution the chair. That is a Euro extention lead. This is allowed outside a bathroom and was predominantly designed for Europe. It is 10Mtr long !!
How big is your bathroom OG ? (Do you live in Buckingham Palace :-) )
Bs 7671 (Electrical regulations) allows the connection to an isolating transformer direct from the IP rated appliance. The lead you have put up would make the appliance lose its IP rating. If it was to fall into the sink or bath (God help you) as it's not IP rated (even though it is being supplied from an isolating transformer).

My advise OG would be to do as Buenchico has said and install a shelf in a convenient place.

You can take your chances (which I would advise you NOT to) But I almost certain that shaver/toothbrush plugs are very slightly different. So I wouldn't be comfotable in saying that they would fit together correctly (possible chance of higher resistance leading to more heat generation and who knowswhat, if you get my drift)

The long and the short is, Don't mess about with this. It's 230v in a bathroom. If you don't know by now, you never will.

Take Buenchico's advice.
Alternatively, If you have the skills. Tap off the existing Isolating transformer/light on the mains input side and install a secondary shaver socket outlet in a convenient place.
A bit of white plastic trunking will do the trick, but will be a little unsightly. otherwise chase a new twin and earth in the wall and redecorate the area affected.

Shelf is easier ! :-)
Brushing your teeth properly is even easier!
LOL ZM :-)

Installing a shelf in someone else's place isn't ideal. Plus I'm unsure how well a shelf under the wall cabinet will go down if needing to avoid hitting yourself on it when using the toilet. Never easy is it.
Question Author
Brushing teeth doesn't clear the gaps.

And a new socket in someone else's place isn't easy. Especially if likely to need removal of tiles etc.. Not really on.
Then you are left with albaqwertys option or this:

you will need two and a length os two core 0.75 flat flex to go inbetween when you make the cut. Not saying you should as this will invalidate your warranty. But it will comply with Regs and be safe. Ugly in appearance too.

Your choice !
