Exterior Wall Crack

I have deep settlement crack in my pebble-dashed exterior wall. Before attempting to patch it up I think I should use a mastic waterproofing filler. Does anyone have a recommendation, please ?

If the crack is wide enough, Derek, I would just squirt Unibond (PVA) into it, and pug it out with waterproof sand & cement mix.

If it's too tight for that, then inject ordinary silicone sealant in, but leaving the last 20mm or so for the final repair.

Do you intend to monitor the crack?

That's a good question, Builder. Not an expert but I don't think it's bad enough and not a subsidence issue. We had a single floor extension last year which involved ground works in the vicinity and I think that was the primary cause.
