Question it's parentage?... Actually, a chain, about 18 inches long with links that measure about 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick and beat the piece randomly to cause dents. A finish can be applied that consists of a blackening or darkening agent that is them wiped off to "shadow" the dents you've just applied. A finishing stain of alighter shade will complete the job... You can paint it and rub down with steel wool particularly edges.
