I have a lengh of 3/8th thick plywood that I intend to use for skirting board. The trrouble is the surface of the wood is quite rough,is it better to lightly sand it or to treat it with some sort of light filler before painting?

Zac AND sad Sorry I was just having lol thinking about SOG sanding and filling a bit of shutter ply knots and all and couldn't resist a bit of HTH Tez PS dont forget to wear your face mask if you use MDF very bad for the lungs.
