I had this the other day but realised that while I was cleaning the knobs I pushed a bit of the plastic & so it was out of line - could this be the same for you?

you either need a new spark generator, an ignition switch or you've spilt water on the ignition switch and it needs to dry out.

is it doing it on all the burners?
