I have two radiators which are not getting warm, one small and one long. These extra two were fitted 16 years and now just will not get warm, I have tried bleeding them and only get a drop of water comming out no air. What can anyone suggest I try.
Many thanks

do you have thermostatic radiator valves fitted to these 2 rads?

feel the pipes below the valves at each end of the radiator, are they hot?
sounds like they are full of sludge/crap, a thorough flush should sort it
Find the drain spiggots for the CH system, open all the radiator valves and then flush out the system. Is it a gravity filled system? probably will be as pressurised don't suffer as badly for sludge. If you have trouble with this get in a plumber, they will charge about 200 plus for this service. One other thing if you are doing it yourself make sure you have a hose for the waste water as it will be filthy and needs to go straight down the drain. Once youve done this close the spiggots turn on your water, let the system refill and then bleed all the rads thoroughly, that should cure the problem.
Oh and one other thing, when you do refill make sure you ad an inhibitor into the water, that is very important.

Try isolating(Turn off) all other radiators in house and run heating as normal.Run for a hour or so, bleeding the effected rads at intervals,See if effected rads get warmer.re open other rads see if effected rads return to original state. If no different, resort to flushing out and treating.
About as much as yours did no.knowledge!! A power flush is the only answer I think to your problem. As for the problem of no.knowledge, anyone have a solution for that? Maybe a compression fitting! Mind you I have heard that AGA's are very under rated. PS I don't recommend the radiators off procedure unless your v carefull. There should always be one radiator in your house that doesnt have a stat on it just in case all the others are closed and they do tend to stick every so often, so be carefull.
