Damaged Asbestos
My partner and I are doing up an old house. One wall is asbestos and was damaged when removing rotten beams
Its just a slight crackmaybe a foot long and an inch wide
I know that from reading about asbestos that it is fine as long as its not disturbed but is it a problem now its been slightly damaged?
Kingspan then plasterboard will then be going on top of it one the beams are all replaced.

we have some damp proofing rubber type stuff. we were thinkin to glue it over the cracked area or just to leave the crack open and the kingspan and plasterboard will be enough to cover it?
