I bought a viburnum sempervirens a few weeks ago. It is about a foot tall. In the past few days it has looked very sorry for itself - leaves are very limp. It has been watered (now by the rain!) Any ideas, please? TIA

When you planted it did you tease out the roots... only a plant that was potbound will do this if it goes into the soil and the roots are too tightly packed... thisis one time I'd consider digging it back up. and checking the rootball then replant and water really well

Rowanwitch, apologies for not saying "thank you" for your answer - whole pile of reasons including computer shut-down - anyway, thank you. Sorry to say, tree didn't survive - first thing I've lost - but shall remember next time.
