Can tomato plants in be planted in the same (large) pot?

If they can be grown in Fison's growbags together, I don't see why not.

Not entirely sure of your question, but I've always found tomatoes plants to be quite greedy. One plant just about works in one large pot. Anyomore than that and they'll struggle for water and nutrients..

I was just wondering, as you move them to bigger pots individually from seedlings, once they get to the size to be re-potted again can they go in the same pot.

We have an 'upside down' tomato hanging thingy but it looks too big to have just one plant in it.

It's ok now....we're going to experiment. We're going to put a few in a pot together and the rest are going to be transferred to the next size up individually. We will see what happens...

Do you know what....I don't think he planted the seeds that came with the dangler so we should probably give that a miss. You once posted a link to growing small toms in hanging baskets. Do you still have it?

I've re-planted mine in a large pot (four plants) and they are absolutely fine.

Depends on the variety, ive about 4 plants in one hanging basket and 3 the other, but a normal tomato plant i would have one to a pot, the more room for the roots the more fruit, and fees with something like Tomorite or this.

When I used to grow tomatoes I'd end up with one plant per 14in pot as maidup sayus they're very greedy plants

Unless they are tumblers then you might be OK in the dangly thing!

He can't find the packet so the info I have is they were purchased from a stand at the garden centre...lol

My BiL gave me four tom plants at the weekend. They were all in very small individual pots. I have now re-planted them all in one big container.Have never done this before, but will see how it goes.
