Acers
Is there any easy way to identify a Acer. We have one, which is growing upwards probably about 10ft high now. Was planted Jan 07 probably about 6ft then, so grown approx 4ft in 4 years. I would like to prune the height but the "Boss " is saying no. Neither of us know the correct thing to do so if we could put a name to it, could look it up on the net and get expert advice on that particular type of Acer. Thanks for any help.

I don't think it matters too much which cultivar you have.
