For any expert gardener out there, of which Im not.
I would like to plant a pot up with the Jubilee colours, red, white and blue in time to be at its best by Diamond Jubilee day 5th June. Any suggestions grateful about what flowers would be best and when to plant

I really would appreciate any help here all you lovely Abber gardeners
Tight for time but red pelargoniums
white petunias and blue lobelia if you can find some just about in flower

Red geraniums blue and white pansies probably safest if you want thjem in flower early june

might find some red petunias they would work with white bellis daisies and blue ageratum but I think it is a caser of going tto the garden centre near the time and seeing what is in flower.

Also worth thinking of crowns of gold with rich purple flowers
Marigolds or the small tagettes with purple pansies or surfinas
Sorry, no gardening tips, but we are missing you on the Potterfan thread.

There is a cake waiting for you there.

Thanks to you both. All those sound lovely. Will have to google them and see what they look like. So you think it would be better to plant up a pot nearer the time rather than start one off now. You are probably right. If the worst comes to it, I can always buy plastic flowers ( YUK) only joking

Hopkirk ? Are you referring to me. Cake where ? Lead me to it :>)
