Unknown bush/shrub

We have this bush in the garden .When it comes into bloom it looks glorious and it's just starting now .However I have no idea what it is . It was here when we moved in nearly nine years ago .
Any offers ?

had it once it was horrible. Rab has just come trotting in from the garden limping. Oh joy. He has managed to get up on the settee beside me for a cuddle so i don’t think his leg will drop off tonight. He is an idiot though.

Good morning! Freezing here and damp! Apparently it was colder here than in South London last night!
Did several little jobs in village and met friends for a coffee but it's nice to be home! I appear to have donated my favourite winter coat to charity last year, bah humbug!!

Wet and windy here too now.Supposed to get colder again as well.
That beta thing looks very confusing although I only skimmed through the email and I can't remember my password now.Cba atm ,I feel very under the weather. At least HM is up and about again,I wonder if she would let me borrow her blanket :)

Well..I've had a look after messing around finding and putting the correct password in which they wouldn't accept and I had to change it,made a comment .I'm not all that keen on it .

Good morning biddettes, chilly and drizzling. I've given 3padded jackets to the charity shop. I'll miss them next year!!

Afternoon all...it's brightening up but still cold and windy. It was grey and grim when I shuffled to the shops to grab some supplies before the big freeze arrives. It was very quiet, maybe everyone's got the lurgy. I'm better but don't feel as lively as I thought I was.

Shaney forget the Balmoral tartan blanket and get yourself a fur throw, they're lovely. They should be available on prescription :)

had a play on the beta site but was driven away by the pop up ads and said so. Final lot of fireworks tonight. One of the (minor) problems with the stuff I gie the dogs is that, while it doesn’t make them sleepy like a sleeping tablet would, it does make them more inclined to sleep. This means that they wake around 11pm full of the joys of spring and want to hunt the garden until the small hours...we all sleep a lot the next day until lunch time and around 4pm the cycle starts again.

Afternnon all
It's been bright and sunny but the temp seems to be dropping like a stone now.Doesn't look all that good for the week ahead with snow forecast. I've got plenty of cuppa soup though :)
This cough sems to have loosened up a bit .The guy next door must think I'm on my last legs but then again a cough isn't quite as loud as a hammer drill.
I looked at those faux fur throws somewhere recently Robina .They look nice.I've already got blankets and throws though .Perhaps I can find a hole in one of them :)
That Beta site is awful.The only good thing is the clearer font .I won't be using it until they switch this one off .We'll probably be the ones turning the lights out ..lol. They hardly need people like me to test it when you've got
the top techie sorting it all out ready.... to go :)

oh dear, have you moved to eastern Europe, neti? It's a sultry 11 degrees here though there is a yellow snow warning for Thursday (as if anyone didn't already know not to eat the yellow snow).

...yes ours is a a yellow snow warning, it won't happen, of course!
Just cooked a lovely roast chicken dinner, with all the trimmings just like xmas, I even made proper gravy as Mr N taught me, will use Boston for the rest of the year!
