We have this bush in the garden .When it comes into bloom it looks glorious and it's just starting now .However I have no idea what it is . It was here when we moved in nearly nine years ago .
Any offers ?

Neti, do you ever send written complaints in Spanglish? :)

Oh the scrolling and clicking on here drives me mad shaney.
The grey skies progressed to piddling rain but this chap looks more than happy being wet

No I am not your normal run of the mill expat! I use ibithenglish, much classier. I really am sorry for the rubbish I type, it just makes up,it's own words!

Lol Neti we make it up as we go along too and speak mishmash .
Anyone being a fly on the wall here wouldn't have a clue what we were chuntering about at times.
Aw the bear is lovely. He looks so so happy splashing about there in the water. It's so cruel how they're treated on those farms.
Turned gloomy here,no rain as yet although it's very windy out there.Storm Doris is on it's way.Think I'll turn in with a hwb and read.Night all.
Good morning all, I am typing this v e r y s l o w l y so as to be legible but even now the predictive nonsense is having non of it, have had a lie in and a cuppa so now time to arise! Got a bit of a headache, I'll put it down to nose as I do not usually suffer from them.
Have a nice day biddies.

there, pick the bones out of that!
Testing, have turned off predictive text! Ahh much better!
the bathroom is due to be finished today (a day later than planned), just bits and pieces to do.. It is very nice but we may have to lay lino over the fake-wood floor at some stage as proteciton, as a little water has got under the veneer and swollen a couple of inches round it.
Thats a shame jno, cant they redo the floor?
Bit chillier here today and eye is driving me mad and nose is running and nostrils very sore, so am indulging in sweets!
we have got some vinyl flooring and Moritz (I think he's actually Mauriz but I can't read his signature) is going to lay it. I don't know whose bright idea it was to put a wood veneer floor in a bathroom in the fist place... well, I do, actually and it wasn't me. The mistakes of the past live on to haunt us.
ah, tomorrow has been called Doris Day, on account of the storm. It may even brush the northern edges of the home counties, which is outrageous. Leave us soft southern jessies in peace!
Weve also been warned of rain, but i doubt it is Doris Day. I am rather cold tonight, its not been a good day, my eye is terribly painful and nose wont stop running all over the place. Had to go back to sticking gauze under it when at home. Sore and tired now.
Looks like everybody is getting a visit from Doris tomorrow. Sis is travelling to me so I hope the motorway isn’t too breezy. She is coming by car, rented with driver and going home same way. She says she is well over stomach upset but wants a shorter less tiring journey for once. I am glad she is being sensible.
Good morning all. Yes we have blustery rain here too so Mr N has decided we will go out for lunch instead of him working.
Hija was at Time Out restaurant awards last night in Dubai, their restaurant came 2nd so they are not too pleased! Butnthey enjoyed it anyway!
Feel cold today so am still in bed but am getting peckish so will have to get up.
Woofy glad sis is ok and being sensible!
Doris made us go to bed late and get up early but dogs are dozing now which is good. Its the sort of day here where Mary Poppins turns up or Winnie the Poo gets blown away
a bit breezy today, one of those little light plastic flower pots has blown over and there's a drop of rain on one of the windows. A perfect storm.
oh, it's worse than that, it's Explosive Cyclogenesis

Morning all...hold on to yer 'ats, Doris is having her day out there. (I've never been a fan) It was a quiet night, I know because I was awake for a chunk of it, my sleep pattern's gone abstract, but now she's turned into a bomb has she?

Yesterday was hair do day... ♫ doodah....doodah ♫... so I'm a bit darker than usual but a few washes will have it where I want to be. Luckily it was an afternoon appointment, I was getting over a hooligan of a migraine from Tuesday night until lunchtime. I couldn't even watch Holby neti :-/ I'll catch up later.

I've got non-slip vinyl in my bathroom, but it didn't stop me tripping over the edge of the bath and bouncing around the walls like a pinball. I think I need to get them padded.

Hope your sis arrives safely woofy, I'm glad I don't need to go out today.
We have floor tiles throughout the house, although these are covered with fitted carpets in both bedrooms, make a lot of difference, and non fitted carpet i the lounge. Our tiles get slippery when i have doused them with talc!
there is a nice basin out on the pavement if anyone wants it, one owwner, good order, Get it before it blows away.

Also lots of rubble in attractive blue bags, make ideal gifts.

Afternoon all
Ooh it's wild out there.Debris flying about, the wind is roaring and the lights keep flickering. It's supposed to calm down by the late afternoon though.
Hope your sister has arrived safely in this lot Woofy and that the rest of you are OK.
Wood floors are not good in bathrooms Jno .We had a wood floor in our last house and it looked very nice until it started to warp and we had to get rid and have vinyl laid. We've got a tiled floor here.
