Unknown bush/shrub

We have this bush in the garden .When it comes into bloom it looks glorious and it's just starting now .However I have no idea what it is . It was here when we moved in nearly nine years ago .
Any offers ?

it is quite mild again and the lawn is being mowed. I am watching it out of the window; very relaxing.

Its gone quite cold due to this sea mist which is covering most of the island today.

Evening all
Been a cloudy dull day ,not all that warm either.
I'm a techno genius yer know .Virgin sent us a new broadband hub and I managed to plug it in and do the passwords for tablet ,phone and printer. Mind you it took me quite a while and I did have to have some instructions over the phone from a child but I got there in the end.
Oooh that sounds good Neti.I just looked it up .I didn't realise they thought of casting Audrey Hepburn and Doris Day for the roles in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane. Yes please ,I'd love to see it.
I also didn't realise that the actress who plays Martha (Alison Wright )is british. Thank you x

Good afternoon. Just been for a walk around old Ibiza to see the mess they have made of updating the old plazas, dreadful to behold! then we ate in Burger King (my choice, he frowned) but it was all I fancied. Now back home and watching the live webcam of April the pregnant giraffe, its fascinating.
Very warm out today but very windy.

hello all. I got woken up at 04.30 this morning because it was raining and the dogs needed guarding from the rain monster. We dozed on and off till lunch time....am thinking an afternoon nap is in order.

We've been lucky with the weather and the promised rain didn't arrive.It's been quite mild but cloudy today and nothing doing at Shaneytowers.
I'm so glad Call the Midwife and Good Karma Hospital have finished for now.I can't stand another Sunday night clutching a box of tissues and blubbing:) New series of Vera next week.

Morning...lovely one so far and the washing's flapping. I didn't gather much speed yesterday, I tried to do a bit outside but I had a rotten dizzy, sickly headache. I haven't watched Midwife yet, I crawled off to bed early.
Nothing major to report. Oh, I won a LD on the lotto again on Saturday.

Lovely day here only a real feel of 9C though.
Washing flapping here as well.It's so nice to be able to put it out for a change .I do like to get the air through my bloomers :)

Afternoon all, sorry I thought I'd already posted! Yesterday was warm but today its midwinter again, out came the fur bood parka and boots, I dont mind!
I cried at the midwife! Will miss it.
Has anyone seen The Replacement? Have caught up wigh it and by ' eck it's good!
Poor Mousey had me up from 1 - 5 am qith her yeowling and confusion, 2nd night running! Dont know what to do!

I watched The Replacement Neti .It's good .She's a psychopath/stalker I reckon. She's after her baby and I think the husband is in cahoots with her.It's certainly very chilling.
Yes, I'll miss the midwives blubfest ..lol.Barbara looked lovely in her wedding outfit. My favourite is nurse Crane .Linda Bassett is such a good actress.

Good morning all. Very blustery here. Pollen seems to be lessening thank heavens. Had a better nights sleep because I left Mousey yeowling outside til 4am and then she came in and slept perfectly, she's still sleeping now.

It brightened up so I tottered out.Took a detour through the churchyard which looks lovely with the huge swathes of daffs all in bloom on the ancient graves.I wish I'd had my camera with me.
It was warm out actually and I could done without my padded jacket.

Grr some b has lit a bonfire not far away and I've had to close all windows and tumble dry the washing, the smell is horrible. I HATE BONFIRES!
