We have this bush in the garden .When it comes into bloom it looks glorious and it's just starting now .However I have no idea what it is . It was here when we moved in nearly nine years ago .
Any offers ?

quite mild today and I went to a Michelangelo exhibition with bare arms. I wasn't outside that much but I wasn't cold.
Good evening....It's been mild here and I've felt better than the past few days. Hope it lasts. I could have done with losing a layer too, I was actually hot at the shops this morning. I bought some blue nail polish, maybe not a wise move for someone with Raynauds when my fingers turn red and white. :)

Hope you watched Holby neti, Hanssen was hilarious, I love him. MMMBop....hahaha.
Yes Robi he is very dry, I also like Hanson! Have to say I am sick of Isaac and Dom, makes me feel dirty,,and Dom's miserable face I remember now when I was going under for my op I asked my surgeon who he was cos I expected to see Mr Valentine!
Did you enjoy The replacement shaney, wow, what a ***. Did the other one end up with David do you think?
Question Author
I was a bit disappointed with it Neti. She was certainly a very disturbed person and the death of her child obviously sent her of her rocker .
I think David was a little bit in love with Ellen on the quiet .
It was all a bit rushed really after the first two excellent episodes and I had a job to keep up with what was going on at the end.It should have been more than a three parter.
You often get that now with these dramas. They try too hard to tie it all up at the last knockings and fail to give things a satisfactory ending. Tut :)
About time I went to bed instead of raking around Ebay ..lol
Night all.Sleep tight .

Morning has broken so I've just nipped in to wish jno a very happy birthday. Whatever you're doing have a great day. Hope the sun shining for you, it is here (for now).

Happy Birthday Jno .Have a lovely day and many happy returns.

Save me a slice for later please, I had (oven) fish in batter last night and it's still crawling through with hobnail boots on. I know I don't do well with them, I don't know why, but I just fancied it.

It's lovely but fresher here too. My Wilko's order arrived yesterday so I've now got a choice of four pairs of gardening gloves, shame I've only got one pair of acheing hands. The care instructions say hand wash only, do not iron, do not dry clean. What?! I've got standards you know, I think I'll have to send them back.
:)

I only watched the first of The Replacement and missed the others. Isn't it worth catching up then shaney?
Question Author
Lol..I don't think I've ever washed a pair of gardening gloves .They end up all holey and mucky and I chuck 'em away.
It's worth watching Robinia but after the slow build up of the first two episodes the third one crammed to much in and some of it didn't make sense.Plot holes as big as pot holes.I think they left it to the viewer to fill in the gaps :)
I might give it viewing at the week-end if the weather turns ugly.
I washed a pair of garden gloves once because they were good ones but it wasn't worth the effort really.
Today's handy hint :)

Just spotted your link...oh dear, I assume he didn't enjoy it then, lol.
hello all....I wanted to give the dogs a quiet day yesterday because I went out to dinner on monday night and something upset them when I was out. I checked the video and they spent an hour howling and were quite wound up when I got home. Anyway I binge watched the old Helen Mirren series of Prime suspect for most of the day and didn’t go to bed till 2am! and there are more!!!!
Happy birthday Jno, hope its warm enough for you to bare your arms on your birthday.
My sis buys me wilko’s gardening gloves, the pretty bright ones. She brings them in bulk because I lose them or the mice nest in them.
Morning all. Yes shaney it was good until the end, theyve just been discussing it on This morning and every viewer is upset at the ending. Its still worth watching though Robi.
thank you for the good wishes. We had a reasonably good lunch down at Paddington (near where jno jnr works so he could join us) with OH and sis, and afterwards we strolled around the canals of Little Venice before coming home. It was 18 degrees, I had bare arms again, and the magnolias were in bloom everywhere. How very nice. We must make the most of it before that New York storm lands on us, I suppose.
Good morning. Its sunny but no idea if chilly as am still at home. Im up and down all night now with the cat, i can get her to sleep for a couple of hours and then she roams and shouts so I have to roam with her and as soon as she howls I have to pick her up and comfort her and try to get her back to sleep, then about 5am I put her outside,,she shouts for a few mins but then she sleeps. Mr is doing manual work so he needs his sleep.
Poor New York is suffering with Storm Stella, so yes it is expected that the UK will get the tail end. Im still waiting for April the giraffe tomgive birth in Harpursville, NY. I follow her and love reading other peoples comments!
Morning from a bloomin' chilly and dull Derby. Accu are spot on when they say 'at risk for sinus headaches', I've certainly got one, tut. It's a massive change from yesterday, it really warmed up in the afternoon. Not enough for bare arms but I may have exposed a wrist.

That poor giraffe, a month overdue sound worrying to me. Maybe it's afraid of heights and is staying put. I wouldn't want to enter the world by being dropped on my head from a height of 6ft...although some think I probably was.

Today's good news....I've won £125 on that lotto LD I won on Saturday. Most I've ever won. :)
summer seems to have ended, I suppose Storm Stella will soon be pouring beer on us.

Hello all
Lovely day here,but a chilly wind .
Ooh that's great Robinia .Well done. Now spend it wisely and don't fritter it away on handbags and make up :)
You might need some new libbies if the weather forecast is anything to go by.
Poor Mousey .That must be upsetting Neti.Shaney got a bit doolally in his old age and used to be wanting in and out of a night and sitting up the garden mumbling to himself.
Sounds like it was lovely day for a birthday Jno.
