on my wish list [ having removed all the rest] is
a lawn mower that you sit on to mow the grass and a garden big enough to merit one.
a mobility scooter just to go to the local shops
a ride in a Hummer not a stretch one an "ordinary" one [ ever since I saw ladies at a Vegas shopping mall driving them].

Dee. You could get a job with the council and use their sit on mowers. :-)
dee you can come round and cut our grass anytime. only takes 2-3 hrs on the siton.

ladies, everytime I go to B&Q I cannot resist having a sit down on one ! and everytime I try and park the car at the local shops I think if I had one of those mobility scooters I could just park outside the shop without any worries.
Dont think I could drive a Hummer thats why I only want a ride.
whats on your revamped wish list ? Dee
Grrrr, I have just come back from my GP, he kept on talking about me getting old and apparently im overweight, my blood pressure is still to high (maybe because I don't take my meds) my cholesterol is to high (maybe because I don't take my meds) I have a 30% chance of having a heart attack or a stroke within the next 10 years due to my heavy smoking in the past (gave up 8 years ago) my glucose levels are high and approaching diabetes.

Apart from being on the point of total organ failure and death Im actually feeling very well!!
RATTER....LOL...you have my sympathies.

How does one manage a patient who has high BP, high cholesterol, overweight.....but feels well?

A medical dilemma.
Sqad, my point exactly!!

GP just trying to frighten you into submission I have boxes of tablets in the drawer under my bed that I have "forgotten" to take I often mislay the blood test form too because I know the results will be depressing and one invalid[Chief Stout] in the family is enough.
"I think if I had one of those mobility scooters I could just park outside the shop without any worries. "

I have no problems with that; it is those who insist on taking them into the shops, rejoicing in the fact that they can cause as much inconvenience to those of us disadvantaged enough to be able-bodied which is the problem.
