Edging Shears

I am just about to buy new lawn edging shears. My old ones were Wilkinson...I could never get them sharp enough even with careful application of the sharpening stone.

Which ones do ABers recommend ?

Barbara I am glad your asking this I have two set's one is spear and Jackson not sure about the second pair had both sharpened last year at the local hardwear shop mowed the lawn on Monday got out the shears no joy at all so I am thinking about new pair not wasting money again having them sharpened I always think a lawn that's doesn't have the edges neat is like a bloke not having a neck shave after haircut

I have a pair of 'Bahco' lawn edging shears, they work well for me.

I just use a strimmer, which I have for those spots where the mower can't reach. Works fine.

I sharpen mine on a grinding wheel when necessary.
