If you haven't already picked them off the plants, do so. Then just leave on a tray and most of them will ripen without any special treatment - I've got loads in the garage and they're all slowly turning - might still have ripe tomatoes in December!
Bit late, sorry. If you put them in a drawer with one ripe tomato they will ripen. I'm told it is a chemical reaction, but it works, I've done it. You can have too much chutney. Not tried frying them, will do - thought, you might be able to use them in curries?
