Rhododendron
Has anyone got a Rhododendron GERMANIA ? I have bought one in a pot, beautiful plant just breaking into flower but - my plant details say it is evergreen but some nurseries say it is decidious, can anyone tell me please which it is? It will make a difference as to where I plant it after flowering.

Thank you Robina and Woofgang, I do live in the milder part of the country so hopefully is will be almost evergreen. Why is it some Rhodedendrons have bright shiny leaves and others plain very dull (like this one) leaves. I wondered if it was anything to do with fertilisers? I have not given mine any yet.
Further to my original question, I have been told, and read about only transplanting into pots one size larger than the one in use at present, but why? my logic can't make sense of this because what happens if you plant into the ground, the roots are not constricted then! so what occurs differently from potting on or planting out?
