I have managed to germinate 5 lemon trees from pips
They are about 4 - 5 inches and are on the (sunny) window ledge in my spare room. I have added a plant food plug and water every few days
What else can I do to encourage them
Sounds like you're doing everything you should. Keep an eye out for pests....Citrus are very susceptible to Red Spider Mite, especially if it's hot and sunny. Scale and Mealy Bug can also be a problem.
Pot them on into successively larger pots as the trees grow.
Special citrus plant food is easily available in garden centres.
The plants should benefit from going outside in the warm summer months but are not hardy enough to withstand UK winters.
