I have had my Yucca for many years and it has been brilliant, losing the odd leaf now and again. As far as I'm aware there are no changes to its environment or treatment but suddenly and I mean suddenly it has a lot of dead leaves. Is there anything I can do to revive it or is this the end approaching. There are still some new leaves appearing. Thanks for any help I will be sad to see it go if I can do anything for it.

I have a rubber plant doing much the same thing.
Maybe it's temperature. Or draughts ?
Older plants do tend to get leggy and therefore its often recommended to re-pot them every two years.
You can also be quite brutal and shorten the stems by sawing them down and starting again.
