Depends on what you are trying to eradicate.When I'm trying to get rid of ivy growing up/around hedges etc then I dilute at around 3 to 4 by volume - which is strong, but effective.

I put I capful into my sprayer and filled it up to the line. It worked fine, but don't expect immediate results, takes about three weeks.
