Daffodil Bulbs

I was given two packs of daff bulbs yesterday. Is it too late to plant them - but, then again, what would the alternative be?

A further point is that many sources suggest autumn planting simply because it's "before the first frost". Given the incredibly mild weather we've been experiencing, it will still be before the first frost in many parts of the country anyway. (Obviously though, you'll probably have a much better chance of success if you live in Truro, rather than Thurso!)

Definitely plant them, our garden centre is still selling them

Just shove them in, they'll probably still flower just a bit later. I was in such a panic that I had 2 bags unplanted before I left to go on holiday Friday morning that i just chucked them in an old washing up bowl and poured some compost over.
