I have taken some geranium cuttings that seem to be growing well but what do I have to do to keep them alive till the spring? they are in the garage where the boiler is so it probably won't freeze in there.

How much light do you have in the garage Biccylova? They need light for overwintering. Keep the roots moist but they like a dry atmosphere. How many do you have? could you put them indoors on windowsills.

thanks mazie, I have ten cuttings and nowhere else to put them as I keep all plants that other people give me (I just cant turn any away) the cuttings are on a table in front of a double glazed half door so get plenty of light, so as long as I give them a LITTLE water and DON'T lay a piece of polythene over them they stand a good chance? that's excellent.
That sounds good. They do keep growing over winter, so fingers crossed for you and the plants. x
