Should I be feeding my roses now? Or is it too late? Just wanted to be sure what I'm doing. Many thanks, cheers, Chox.

Well, two of our 5 standard rose trees have been flowering virtually all summer - they are still looking glorious. The other three are new this year - they produced a few flowers (gorgeous), but most have now died off and I've dead-headed them all where appropriate. Any ideas?
I know many folks who swear by spent tea leaves to keep roses looking good. use as a mulch around the roots.

Oh, that's very interesting - never heard of that before - will give it a try - we certainly have lots of tea-leaves at home! Cheers, Chox.
Chip do you have a compost bin, if not get some from garden centre and use as a mulch.
The instructions on our Toprose say to feed it in spring when growth starts and again in summer after the first flush of flowers.
Is there any horse muck available?
