Morning Glories
I notice a lot of my morning glories have self seeded and are growing like mad! Shall I leave them out where they are or pot up and keep indoors? Thanks for an advice

They are usually treated as annuals, due to them being not very hardy when the frosts come. You could experiment by potting up and taking them indoors for the winter, what have you to lose ?. I grew some a couple of years back and they completely covered an 8ft obelisk, amazing plants to watch and grow.

Oh, dear. I planted Morning Glory in two places over this last year. Wasn't expecting them to fail over winter as they hardly had time to push out the greenery and have seen about 3 flowers at one site only. Expected them to be a "permanent " feature with more greenery and blooms each year. I've no intention of digging them up, nowhere to put them anyway. How likely are they to survive ? Do I need to cover them with something to ensure that they do ?
Might ask about other plants in a new thread, too. :-(
