I love to see them in mine. They seem to like damp shade and my soil is quite heavy

I did try some wood anemomes once but they just don't seem to like the soil, a little on the acidic side, I think.
A couple of years back I planted some cyclamen corms, only to find they had all been dug up by something the very next day.
I've since bought a lesser celandine plant (Brazen hussy), its leaves are a dark bronze colour, so I'll try to get a patch of these going, if I can. I bought the last one they had in the nursery.
