i have 5 connifers at the back of my garden the neighbours behind have asked us to cut back as they are blocking out light .my husband was going to tackle this however we think they need about 15 feet off the top,does anyone know how much we will have to pay to get the professionals in?

At a rough ball park figure, I'd say �100-�150 but a lot may depend on the accesss to your garden (side gate etc)
Get a few Quotes and go for one that sounds reasonable and proffesional.
Maybe they can take a look at your Laburnum too ?
