Horse-chestnut tree
I am looking to buy a house that has a horse chestnut in the middle of the garden. The tree has a preservation order on it. Apart form the obvious leaf and conker fall are their any major issues i should be concerned/aware of before i commit to buying a house with this tree so close to it.

with species of trees and the "safe" distance from houses - note that this is a pretty conservative distance
You haven't told us how close it actually is because we don't know how large the garden is, so I can't say how safe it might or might not be.
Note willows are the scary ones 40m!
