I have a conker tree but it seems to be producing fewer and fewer conkers every year in the 3-4 years that we have lived here. It has flowered already and some little conkers can be seen but it looks as if most of the flowers have fallen without producing a conker. Is there anything I can do to improve the number of conkers that it produces?
I have read during the last year that there is a disease or pest that is causing problems with the chestnut trees and as of this moment I don't think they have a remedy, probably like the dutch elm disease it will have to run it's course.
Since my reading there may of course have been a "break through" let's hope so.
