I have a small pear tree and apple tree, I want to give them away, when is the best time to take them out?

Hi annie, I would move them in the autumn after the leaves have fallen, the trees are dormant at this time.
Try to keep a good size root ball when you dig them out and keep well watered after transplanting. All the Best Tbird+
