We have several large Laurels in our garden, the leaves have started curling round edge to edge and have a white powdery covering, I was advised to spray them with soapy water but this hasn't helped.
Any suggestions as to what it could be and possible cure?
Hi, I'm not sure if soapy water will have any effect, what you describe sounds like one or two types of fungal attack ie powdery mildew and leaf curl.
I would recomend removing and destroying badely affected leaves then spraying with a fungicide containing copper such as' Bordeaux Mixture'. You should be able to buy this at a garden centre. Good Luck. Tbird+
