I have sevaral Papua New Guinea Busy Lizzies which are still flowering at the moment. Does anyone know if they can survive the winter if protected from frost?

They are annuals so will not survive although sometimes it is possible to keep them going a bit longer. You can take cuttings from them to grow on for next year but you will need a good warm greenhouse to do this.
No, definitely not frost hardy, will keel over at the first hint of frost!
I was under the impression that they were half hardy perennials. Definitly would need frost protection, but they are very easy to root. Take cuttings about 4" long and insert in water. Once roots are formed, they can be potted up as usual and placed on a windowsill for the winter.
