digging up dead cat

I want some building work done in the garden but I can't remember exactly where I buried the cat about 10 years ago. There are 5 guinea pigs and a small hen all buried between 2 and 8 years ago.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the fur/feathers etc. to decompose?
